Where is my Minecraft folder on Windows? Ask Question. Brant Janessa Janessa 83 1 1 4. You can just click on the button in-game that says 'open resource folder'. On macOS it still is minecraft. Windows Here's an easy way to get to it: Launch Minecraft. Select "Options" Select "Resource Packs I want to play minecraft on my mac, which means I somehow have to get the mac minecraft files on there.
My mac has no internet.
My PC has minecraft and internet. I hope this gets the point through. And also: CraftHub Writer. The minecraft 'exe' downloads extra installation files when you run it for the first time. Some of these are labelled as native libraries and I think the osx launcher will need these. A windows install simply won't have them. You need the install folder from a mac or at least you need the address of the mac native libraries from minecraft. I can get you a zip of the mac install folder, you could then grab that on your pc and unzip it on the mac?
Okay, because what I was advised to do earlier gave me a black screen.
I mean with the copying of the files. So does anyone know for sure something that might work?
I know this is a complicated problem. Okay, it's not a question of setting up internet, it's that the Mac's internet is broken.
Maybe fixable, but I don't want to open up the Mac. Please don't give me a tutorial on how to do so. And I tried what you did, and I was able to click play offline, but then there was a black screen. The weird thing was, when I tried it with the older version of beta 1. But it is a very recent model, so I think it's just that fact that I'm copying PC files.
A guide to Installing mods (Windows and Mac)
I think there's a difference between the PC files for minecraft and the Mac files. Native libraries are built especially to only run on one type of machine such as windows or mac. You must get a mac zip of the install folder. As I said, I can get you that tomorrow if you want? Yeah, that would be great! Post the link on this thread, or PM me.
